The AWDS Process

CLIENT Process

White Glove Service

An AWDS project is based on a very simple principle. We engage with our clients and let them have a large say in how things are done, we ask our clients to be involved from the very beginning of the process. Using these principles means that when we get to the manufacturing and installation process we can allow the professionals the time and space to work towards our ultimate goal, that every AWDS product is a unique marriage between client and designer and we have created a finish which is second to none.

Telephone Consultation

Once you have made your initial enquiry, one of our dedicated customer concierge representatives will contact you to ask a preliminary set of questions aimed at mutually determining if AWDS is the right partner for your project.

Design Consultation

If we have mutually decided that AWDS might be the right millwork partner for your needs, then your project will be delegated to one of our designers for a design consultation. This consultation will usually occur at your home where our designer will discuss your objectives and gather all feedback that you have to get the kitchen of your dreams. The in-home visit will also allow the designer to take 3D mapping measurements and photos of the existing space.

Design Presentation

Meticulously incorporating measurements collected and ideas you provided, your dedicated designer will begin drawings and work closely with you to establish the right materials, hardware and overall finishes to help us portray an accurate visual of how your project will look. This visual is completed using our state of the art CAD software, allowing you to understand exactly how the design works and how the project will look. Ideally this stage would occur at one of our showroom locations, but your dedicated designer can also travel to your home, should it be more convenient for you.

Confirmation and Deposit Payment

When you are completely happy with the final design, you will receive the Terms of Sale agreement for review, after your approval you will be requested to make a deposit. After this, your order is sent to our backend team of skilled craftsmen where it will soon be put into production.

Specification

We will visit the project site at an agreed date, no later than one week prior to installation to double-check that services are in place and dimensions are correct as agreed on the design drawing. This final pre-installation visit ensures that the installation day is as smooth as possible.

Installation

Your cabinets will be delivered either the day before or morning of your installation date. The size of your project will determine the number of days required for completion of installation. The installation of cabinets typically takes three to four days.

Inspection Audit

To ensure your purchase is everything that you dreamed of, and lives up to AWDS’ high quality standards, a Quality Assurance Specialist will perform a post-installation quality audit of with you. Once the inspection passes, the remaining holdback balance will become due. We are so confident in the integrity of our craftmanship, we do not request the full balance prior to passing of the quality audit.

After Sales

We greatly value our customers and want you to recommend us to others and come back for future requirements. Please be assured that any issues will be dealt with professionally, efficiently, and promptly. We will continue to look after our customers long after the project has been completed. We are committed to providing the best possible after sales service and advisory to maximise the life and enjoyment of your kitchen.
