A transitional take on traditional framed inset cabinetry, Cotswold was designed to feel timeless rather than tied to a particular moment. Painted perimeter cabinetry is balanced by a white oak island, while subtle changes in profile, material and detail give the kitchen its own character. Three distinct door and drawer profiles, reeded detailing, furniture-style toe kicks and a custom crown moulding designed and built by AWDS add depth without making the room feel overly ornate.
The same thinking continues behind the doors. A pocket-door coffee bar reveals a white oak interior, custom inserts organize the cabinetry around everyday use, and integrated lighting is built into the design. Even the waste system was considered as part of the cabinetry, with smart-home integration allowing it to open by sensor or voice command.
